DRARA AGM and PROPOSED PARKING SCHEME CHANGE

AGM

Ditchling Rise Area Residents Association AGM will be held at 6.30pm on Friday 10 September 2021 at Cavalry Church Hall, 72 Viaduct Road, Brighton. We will be electing a new Chair and Officers. Refreshments will be provided. All residents welcome!

PROPOSED PARKING SCHEME

The proposal is to split Zone J into two, north and south of the railway line. Information and the online survey to capture the views of local residents can be found here:

Area J Review – Brighton & Hove City Council – Citizen Space (brighton-hove.gov.uk)

The consultation closes on Monday 6 September. The DRARA committee support the proposal as we think that splitting the current Area J into two zones will limit the number of cars in our congested area south of the railway. Whatever your views, please use the link above to complete the survey.

The council have said that letters have been sent to all addresses within the Zone J area about the consultation.

In Brighton & Hove this is a strong influence on 175 deaths brought forward each year” – Brighton and Hove Air Quality Action Plan 2013
